Issue: The following error message is received when a user runs reports.

Error Message: "FCSInfoServer: Component 'MSCOMCT2.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."

Solution: This file resides in C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Windows\SysWOW64 by default. Check to see if the file is present.

• If it is present, register the file by running regsvr32.exe c:\windows\syswow64\mscomct2.ocx from a command line.
• If the file is not present, copy the file from a working WSO computer to the problem computer and register the file. If the file is not available, contact Support for assistance.

More Information: MSCOMCT2.ocx is an Active X control module that contains common Windows controls. This file should be installed when installing WSO Administrator.
